The Planar 6 RS is that rarest of products (in any category, not just hifi) where there is literally nothing to be said against it. Thanks to borrowing components from the Planar 8 it’s brilliant value for money and it delivers sensational performance without needing a moving coil phonostage to do it. Finally, it’s proportionally perfect; one of the prettiest turntables available at any price. This is the best turntable anywhere near this price point and a very worthy award winner.
